Description
Introductory course to theories and qualitative methods to engage and produce educational research and inquiry. We will focus on the implications of reading and writing research that imagines and aligns emancipatory discourses to enact equity in educational policy and practice in a variety of social settings. Participants will expand on their critical and interpretive inquiry tools to reflect, evaluate, write, and present research. This course will include an interdisciplinary framework that will support students in education and the social sciences to design a research inquiry project grounded in educational topics.
