Description
This course introduces a variety of open source GIS and proprietary technologies for front-end web development and web mapping. The course emphasizes a hands-on learning approach to real-world problem solving. Various web services and programming languages will be introduced to explore different ways to gather, manipulate, and display spatial data on the web, with the goal of deciding how they can best be used with stakeholders in different contexts. Formerly IDCE 30262. Students who have already passed IDCE 30262 cannot receive credit for SSJ 30262 and should not take this course.
