Description
This course examines the assumed decline of "the" American family and the recent changes in family composition and structure. It also considers the impact of the Great Recession and immigration on family life. We consider trans and gay and lesbian families as well as difference in family culture according to race. African American, Latinx, and Asian families are discussed.
