Description
Section information text: This course continues the study (begun in MATH 131 and MATH 172 ) of the topological properties of subsets of Euclidean space, developing algebraic tools like homology (the proper context for Stokes' theorem from MATH 131 ) and fundamental groups, with an emphasis on finite simplicial complexes. Further topics may include knot theory and topological modeling in psychology.
