Section information text: Calculus is the mathematics study of continuous change and it is composed of two main categories: the study of differential calculus which we cover in Calculus I and integral calculus to be covered in Calculus II. In Calculus I, we will focus on instantaneous rates of change and the slope of curves and how these topics are used in the world around us. Other topics include limits and their properties, differentiation, logarithmic and exponential functions, and integration.
