Description
An upper-level undergraduate (juniors and seniors) and graduate seminar. The course will use the logic and principles of international and comparative education to explore the phenomena of education and international development as they pertain to a range of intersecting and cross-cutting themes. We will examine education historically and currently through issues such as globalization, aid and development, gender, youth, HIV/AIDS, and displaced and migrant communities. Concentration: Education and Development- Youth Development- Gender and Identity.
