Description
The Oral History Methods and Practice course will engage students in all aspects of oral history. Students will study a variety of theories and methods of oral historians, as well as the professional standards set by the Oral History Association. Students will design and develop their own 'rapid response' oral history project in conjunction with a community partner. Students will also develop and conduct an interview with a pre-selected member of our community, for the Worcester Women's Oral History Project. These interviews will become part of the WWOHP repository, held by Harvard University's Schlesinger Library
