Description
This experiential course immerses students in the real-world practice of entrepreneurship by connecting classroom learning directly to the surrounding business community. Through partnerships with local entrepreneurs, organizations, and resource providers, students explore the ecosystems that support small business success while building networks and engaging with key stakeholders. Students serve as consultants to local businesses, addressing real challenges and opportunities, while gaining insight from guest speakers across industries. The course integrates business fundamentals, growth strategies, adaptability, and resilience with hands-on application, while also incorporating artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance decision-making, marketing, and operational efficiency. Grounded in lean and process management principles, students develop practical skills to analyze operations, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable solutions in today’s evolving entrepreneurial landscape.
