Description

Section information text: Covers the basics of news writing, from reporting an event to writing an obituary. Students learn how to collect information, conduct interviews and organize writing into crisp news copy. Class work includes weekly deadline writing assignments. Homework: weekly writing exercises based on textbook examples and field assignments, as well as readings from texts and daily newspapers.
