Description
Section information text: Explores the criminal justice system through the eyes of the individual participants. Students explore the different stages within the system from investigation and arrest through trial, sentencing and corrections. Guest speakers representing many of the agencies involved in the criminal justice process will offer the class a first-hand look into the realities of their positions, as well as their opinions about the overall effectiveness of the system. Students will also tour a local police department and lock-up.
