Description
In today's data-driven and AI-powered world, the ability to manage, query, and interpret structured data is a foundational skill for any analytics or technology-focused career. Before data can be analyzed or used in AI systems, it must first be sourced, structured, and retrieved from a database. This course provides a hands-on introduction to database management, SQL, and database design. Students will work with PostgreSQL, a widely used open-source relational database system, and pgAdmin to write real SQL queries against actual datasets. Since structured data serves as the backbone for both business analytics and AI pipelines, the skills learned here are directly applicable to analytics, reporting, and AI-driven decision making across industries.
