Description
This course combines a practical understanding of lettering techniques with a survey covering the history of hand drawn letters and alphabets. Students will study letterforms, historical lettering styles, tools, and processes while also having the opportunity to create their own expressive hand lettered compositions. Students will be charged a V&PA lab fee upon registering for this course. (Prior studio art experience is helpful but not required).
