Description
Section information text: Explores the gendered nature of environments we inhabit, represent, and transform through everyday practices, as well as the gendered power relations implicated in the politics of resource access, use, and control at the local and the global level. Spans a number of interrelated themes, including feminist environmentalism, ecofeminism, feminist political ecological concerns on food, water, the body, and human-animal relations, masculine environments, queer ecologies, and environmental and gender justice movements. Combines lectures, discussions, films, student presentations, and group debates.
